Home Health Care

CRH Home Health Agency is a JCAHO accredited, Medicare certified agency, staffed by experienced professionals providing healthcare services in the home setting. The Agency is hospital-based and has the resources and high level of medical excellence of Cushing Regional Hospital.

The following services are available through CRH's Home Health Agency:

Skilled Nursing

• Physical Assessments & Vital Signs (including blood pressure, pulse, breathing, temperature, blood work & skin condition)
• Treatments (includes wound care, would vac, breathing, IV therapy & pain control)

Psychiatric Nursing

• Coping skills for anxiety and depression
• Problem solving skills development
• Relaxation techniques
• Anxiety source identification

Education

• Prevention
• Living with disease
• Proper medications
• Oxygen Safety
• Tube Feedings

Personal Care Aides

(includes bathing, dental hygiene, etc.)

Therapy

Physical Therapy

All services provided by licensed registered physical therapists. Services include:

• Gait training and strengthening exercises
• Joint mobilization and massage
• Transfer training
• Pain management (ultrasound, e-stem units, and tens units)
• Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation

Occupational Therapy

All services provided by licensed registered occupational therapists. Services include:

• Home safety and functional evaluation
• Assessment for adaptive equipment needs
• ADL and IADL training
• Therapeutic exercise
• Hand therapy
• Splinting and orthotic fitting

Speech Therapy

All services performed by licensed clinical speech therapists. Services include:

• Swallowing evaluation and treatment
• Aphasia and cognitive treatment
• Voice treatment

Medical Social Services
