Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Billing at Cushing Regional Hospital

  1. Why do I get a statement that is not itemized?
CRH does not send out itemized statements because it is not cost effective; however, we are happy to send an itemized statement at a patient's request.

  2. Why did I receive a bill from CRH for lab work when I was never admitted as a patient?
Many times, the doctors associated with CRH will send lab work to our hospital to be processed STAT instead of sending it to another source. Therefore, your primary care physician probably sent your lab work to us and you are receiving our bill. If you are unsure or if you have any further questions, please call the hospital at 918-225-2915, and we will assist you.

  3. Why do I receive several bills for procedures performed through my physician's office at Cushing Regional Hospital?
When you receive a bill from your physician you will see Hillcrest Medical Group (HMG) on the bill. HMG is the central billing department for all physicians associated with CRH. If your physician orders tests to be performed at CRH, you will receive a separate bill from us for those services provided at our hospital. If your test requires a certain professional to read it (such as MRI's, X-rays, or Cat Scans), then you will receive a bill from that radiologist as well for services they provided. If you have any additional concerns about your bill, please call our billing department.
